  • How do I update to the latest version of Vault?
    1. Download the latest version of Vault from our website.
    2. Make sure that Vault is NOT running on your computer.
    3. Copy the new version of Vault into your Applications folder, overwriting the older version.
    4. Launch the new version.

    Note: While this process does not affect your data files, it is always a good idea to keep a backup.

  • Why does Vault connect to the Internet?
    The ONLY time that Vault will try to connect to the Internet is when it is looking to see if there is a newer version available. No information is sent to our server. Vault simply looks up the current version number from our web site and compares it to it own. If you don't want Vault to make this connection, simply click on the 'Preferences' button and uncheck the box 'Automatically check for updates'. Just keep in mind that if you will not be notified of any new updates.

  • I forgot my password, what can I do?
    Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to recover a forgotten password, so make sure you use one that you will remember or write it down and store it in a safe place.

  • I have the trial version, how do I get the full version?
    The trial version is actually the full version with some restrictions in place. Simply buy a serial number and enter it into the program to remove these trial restrictions.

  • How long does it take to get my serial number?
    You will receive an email containing your registration info within fifteen minutes of placing your order. Make sure that you check your SPAM/Junk mail folders. If you do not receive your registration email, please contact us right away.
